The exhibition "Universe Inside Us" aims to show the structure and roles of our bodies in details and to teach us about the human organism in a dignified environment.

Visitors will have the opportunity to get close to and personal with human specimens, providing for them a new insight into the operation of their own bodies. They will gain an overview of the development and history of the disciplines related to the study of the human body. The items illustrate where humanity has come from and how far it has gone in understanding its own body. It shows how complex and yet perfectly constructed the human body is.

This is the first exhibition to inform us about anatomy, physiology and health through real human bodies preserved by a unique (plastination) process (the plastination process was invented in 1977 by Prof. Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who worked as an anatomist at the University of Heidelberg). These plastinated bodies are real works of art made with care and accuracy. They show bodies in motion, the operation and mechanisms of the organs inside the body.

We can see the effects of diseases and addictions, using models and samples to show healthy and diseased organs (for example, comparing a healthy lung with a smoker's).

We can gain insight into the mechanics of different joints, the functions of different implants. And of course, last but not least, there is a strong emphasis on a healthy lifestyle.
