Ennio Morricone has written more than 500 scores for the film and television industry and composed more than 100 complete works of music. Between 2014 and 2019, he gave 111 concerts in Europe alone. In 2019, immediately after his retirement from the stage, Ennio Morricone began work on a brand new concert production of his greatest classic films. He completed plans for the new show by mid-2020, but the concert was not shown for his death. Ennio Morricone died on 6. July 2020. at the age of 91.

The Oscar, Grammy and two-time Golden Globe-winning Italian composer's family refused to let the production be forgotten and stages the concert as part of a tour in 2022. Hungarian fans can enjoy the commemorative concert conducted by Andrea Morricone, the son of the composer. In addition to the musical experiences, never- before-seen footage of the Maestro at work and during interviews are displayed.

The well-known melodies are performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and the choir of the Kodály Philharmonia Debrecen, consisting of more than 50 singers.
